My Story

I grew up in Italy, with a passion for theatre, movement and dance from a  young age. With a background in arts management and film, I have been working in the creative industries for over 15 years and know about the pressure and stress of a busy life. I am an energetic, enthusiastic being and have experience of anxious-agitated states. Through the years, I have learnt how I can allow myself to slow down,  breathe and rest - it has indeed taken some practice, patience and dedication but I am so grateful for it.

Living a highly exciting and stressful life, there was a time when I wasn’t able to express my feelings and emotions. It was quite a struggle - somehow being aware of my feelings but not capable of letting them out for fear of the potential consequences. It literally felt as though I had a frog in my throat - something stuck that was preventing me from being who I am.  Fortunately, the discomfort led to a time of self-inquiry and acceptance. I AM my emotions and feelings and the more I am able to express them the more I can live with purpose and authenticity!

I believe the main purpose of human bodies is to express our inner feelings to the outside world. Longing to communicate my story to others in a clear and truthful way, I came in contact with Reiki and meditation - to learn to listen to myself and speak my truth. It was life-changing and liberating - I then went onto receiving a Reiki attunement in 2013 and becoming a practitioner myself. Through continuous explorations of various bodywork and healing practices I came across biodynamic craniosacral therapy - where deep healing happens with the lightest touch. The first session I received felt a bit like “abracadabra”. The practitioner was seemingly not doing very much other than gently holding my body, yet I felt suspended in a warm bubble of light - fully in tune with myself and connected with a deeper source of health, joy, and love. I trained as a biodynamic craniosacral practitioner in 2016-17 and feel privileged to be able to share my passion and expertise, helping others in the journey of self-discovery and healing.  I am now a tutor at the Body Intelligence Biodynamic Craniosacral Practioner training that launched in London in September 2021 - it feels humbling and deeply nourishing to teach hands-on work after 18 months of deprivation in the world.

Meanwhile, the pandemic gave me some “breathing space” during which I trained as Breathwork Practitioner with Alchemy of Breath in 2020-21. I am amazed by the transformative power of the breath and honoured to bring this into more people’s lives as I have now become a Trainer in the Inner Journey and Breathwork Facilitator Programme with Alchemy of Breath.

As we settle and deepen into the rhythms of the Breath of Life in craniosacral practice, we are able to replenish our potency (aka life force) and embrace all that life has to offer. Similarly, in breathwork, the more we surrender and allow our breath to guide us and lead the way, the more we can move beyond our past programming and conditioning towards our full potential.

I move forward with gratitude for all that life presents and practise regular conscious breathing, yoga, meditation, movement, and dance.
